What an incredible term it’s been! We are beyond excited to celebrate the fantastic performances we’ve seen across the board. It’s been our best term yet, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students’ hard work and dedication. We’re eagerly awaiting results from the Victoria College of Music and Drama in London, and we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we can.
Next Performance – Mark Your Calendars: Our next big performance is on 19th July – be sure to mark your calendars! We’re gearing up for a tail-wagging good time as we bring 101 Dalmatians to the stage. Expect excitement, adventure, and plenty of puppy love as our talented cast takes you on a journey filled with fun and furry surprises!

Poynton Youth Theatre Academy – An Exciting Part of the Project: During 101 Dalmatians, our Youth Theatre Academy students are, once again, getting a chance to train in all areas of theatre production, providing a well-rounded experience that prepares them for everything behind the scenes. They’ll dive into:
Sound Design
Sound Operation using QLab
Lighting Design
Lighting Operation
Stage Management
Costume Design
Set Design
Set Management
Stage Hands
These students are learning the ins and outs of production, working with professional equipment and training from experienced theatrical producers. They’ll even have a budget to work with as they create their own production area from scratch. By the end of the process, they'll be equipped with all the skills needed to thrive in the theatre industry – from design to operation. We aim to nurture the next generation of theatre makers, giving them hands-on experience in every aspect of performance, including the technical side.
